Club Glass House is looking for an enthusiastic, safety-conscious Courtesy Bus Driver to join our team on a casual basis. This role involves driving our supplied Courtesy Bus to provide convenient transportation for our members from Wednesday – Sunday. 

𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: The primary responsibility of the Courtesy Bus Driver is responding to members' requests for pick-up and drop-off services in the local area. The successful applicant must be available to work evenings and weekends. This role allows a great work/life balance.

𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀:

𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘆 𝗕𝘂𝘀 𝗗𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀:Safely transport members from the local area, always adhering to safe driving practices.

𝗔𝗱𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁: Answer incoming calls and make outbound calls to confirm transportation requests professionally.

𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Coordinate with members to ensure timely pick-ups and drop-offs.

About you:

𝗟𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿:  Hold a valid 'LR' Class Driver’s License, maintain a good driving record and have a strong focus on safety.

𝗟𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗞𝗻𝗼𝘄𝗹𝗲𝗱𝗴𝗲: Familiarity with Glass House Mountains and its surrounding areas.

𝗖𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀: Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional attitude towards members.

𝗥𝗦𝗔 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗱: Hold a current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification.

𝗥𝗦𝗚 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗱: Hold a current Responsible Service of Gaming (RSG) certification. Preferred but not essential.

To be a successful applicant, you will be a motivated, experienced individual who is keen to join the team of a a fast moving, progressive community club.

You will also:

- Be able to handle the high volume of work associated with the hospitality industry.

- Have outstanding customer service and communication skills.

- Be driven and show initiative.

- Have the ability to work autonomously, as well as within a team.

- Display excellent time management skills.

- Hold a current RSA and RSG.

A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role is essential to be considered, as is a genuine understanding of the hospitality industry and the hours associated with it, which will include nights, weekends and public holidays set over a balanced rotating roster.
